Throughout the year, Landon Vanderwarker has developed into one of the more sought-after forwards in Ohio’s 2025 class. The junior has already received offers from several division one programs and is receiving interest from numerous others.
Over the past few months, he has continued to pull in the offers after playing with the Midwest Basketball Club. Currently the 6’7” Vanderwarker holds offers from Furman, Indiana State, Miami (OH), Ohio, Toledo, Utah Tech, and VCU. As well to his seven offers, he has taken a few visits over the course of the fall, including ones to high major programs.
“Amazing,” Vanderwarker first said about his visit to Notre Dame. “Really love the coaching staff. Campus is one of the best we have seen. Strength and conditioning coach is one of the best we have talked to. Facilities are top tier.”
The junior called his visit to VCU great. “Had a great time with the coaches, loved the culture. The campus was really nice. Love the atmosphere.”
“It was also a great visit,” he said his trip to Virginia Tech. “Coaching staff was really welcoming. Campus is really nice. Football atmosphere was crazy.”
In addition to these three visits, Vanderwarker is also planning on taking visits to Butler, Furman, Miami, and Penn State. Some of the other schools showing interest in him include Clemson, Dayton, Illinois State, Iowa State, Virginia, Wisconsin, Yale, and others.
