After a strong junior season in which Brandon Tilley averaged 12.2 points and 4.4 rebounds helping Franklin High School to a 19-9 season, he followed that up with an even better grassroots season with the Wisconsin Swing. Throughout multiple tournaments during both the spring and summer, he proved to be one of the better wing forwards on the NY2LA Association. Following the big year of play, the 6’5” wing forward has started to see his recruitment grow.
Just a few weeks ago at the end of September, Tilley pulled in his first scholarship offer. This came from Mount Mercy University following a visit to the NAIA school. “I really enjoyed the visit to Mount Mercy,” Tilley said about his trip to the Iowa school. “The coaching staff and the players were awesome to talk to and hangout with. I really enjoyed the campus and being on the hill.”
As well to the offer, Tilley is also receiving interest from programs at both the division two and three levels. Amongst the ones showing the most interest include Malone University, UW-La Crosse, UW-Stevens Point, and UW-Whitewater. Next up for visits is one to UW-Stevens Point coming up in November on the third and fourth.
“I can bring versatility as a player, playing positions two through five being able to stretch the floor and score from all three levels,” he said about his tools for the next level. Tilley is looking towards January or February at the latest to make his college commitment.
