Over the past several weeks, the recruitment has continued to build for Eli Greenberg. The 6’4” 2025 guard of Centerville High School (OH) just picked up his first offer early last month and is now up to three, all of them coming from division one programs.
The uptick in recruitment follows a breakout grassroots season this year playing with the Midwest Basketball Club where has game has continued to take great strides. The first offer for Greenberg was back in the first week of August, coming from Eastern Kentucky. Next up was an offer from Robert Morris University days later. Most recently coming just a few days ago, Purdue Fort Wayne extended an offer to the junior.
When asked about his game, the guard said he can “do a bit of everything,” including on both the offensive and defensive side of the ball. “I can create for myself and others with or without the ball and my strong suit would be my shooting ability and ball handling.”
So far, he has only taken one visit, going to Radford University last year. Though he is planning on taking visits to Eastern Kentucky and Robert Morris in the near future. Other programs showing interest in him currently also include Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan, Illinois State, Marshall, UNC Wilmington, and others.
