On Saturday, Devin Brown took a visit to the University of Illinois. Brown is currently one of the top players in Wisconsin’s 2025 class following up a big high school and grassroots season. During his sophomore season at Milwaukee Academy of Science, the 6’7” wing forward averaged 21.6 points and 9.8 rebounds per game and then played with Power 5 during the spring and summer.

“The visit was great,” Brown said about his trip to the Big 10 school. I got a tour of campus, it’s really nice and advanced and I took a great photo shoot. We drove on the golf carts and had a tour of campus. Then we watched the football game, and I had a talk with Coach Frazier.”

While Illinois has not extended an offer to the junior, he does have several offers from mid-major and high major programs. His offer list consists of Bryant, Detroit Mercy, Grambling, Mississippi State, Valparaiso, and Western Illinois. Other programs showing interest in him include Cal, DePaul, Georgia, Iowa State, TCU, and others.

The visit to the Illinois campus was his first visit though he has a few more in the future. Next up for Brown is visits to DePaul, Iowa State, Valparaiso, and Western Michigan.
