While Davis Bynum entered June without a single scholarship offer, that quickly changed. During the June scholastic high school live periods with his high school East St. Louis (IL), the 6’8” senior wing was a breakout star landing on a long list of division one coaches’ radars. His recruitment continued to build in July during his time with Team Ramey.

On Friday, Bynum released his final four schools. The list included Cal State Fullerton, Illinois State, Lindenwood, and Southern Illinois Edwardsville. He discussed each of the schools and what he likes about each one.

Cal State Fullerton: “I like the area it’s in. I also like the family vibe from the coaches and the players.”

Illinois State: “I like the area and I like the head coach and the offense they run.”

Lindenwood: “The area the schools in, I also like the academic part of it.”

Southern Illinois Edwardsville: “I like how the players were real with me about the school and not lying just to me to come there.”

The schools to offer Bynum and not make the cut included Eastern Illinois and Valparaiso. He will be announcing his commitment later this month on the 27th.
