While the recruitment for Nick Allen is still in the early stages, he is one of the top 2025 big men in the Midwest region. As well to standing at 6’10”, there are plenty of other aspects to like about his game.

Allen had a breakout sophomore season and was a key piece in helping Bradley-Bourbonnais High School (IL) have a 18-11 record. With his play, he earned himself first team all-conference honors.

The sophomore is a mobile and agile big man with good length. He has developed into a dominant low post scorer as well as going to the basket on rolls and running the floor hard in transition. “Mobile big man who can finish at the rim with good footwork and touch,” Allen said describing his own game. One aspect of his game he is looking to improve is his ball handling, “so I can take my game to the next level.” Allen has also been working on his shot and he has become confident taking open threes.

“Season is going good so far,” Allen said about the start of his grassroots play with the Illinois Wolves. “First tournament we didn’t have the best outcome, but we are a lot better than last year, and you can expect to see big things from us this year.” As Allen continues to develop his all-around game to pair with his interior play, he has unlimited upside, and his recruitment should only continue to greatly build this spring.
