It has been a monumental couple of days for Alvin Baez whose recruitment is starting to explode. The 6’4” combo guard of Springfield Commonwealth Academy (MA) and Rhode Island Elite is having a big senior season in which the offer list and number of schools recruiting him continues to grow.

Right now, Baez is averaging with 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists per game. He has just picked up a pair of division two offers from Adelphi University and Post University. He was also previously offered by University of New Haven.

In addition to his trio of division two scholarship offer, he also has several division one programs showing interest in him. The senior has visits planned to Central Connecticut, Farleigh Dickinson, and St. Francis Brooklyn. Plus, Bryant, Merrimack, and Stonehill have all been in touch with Baez.

Baez is a tough and versatile guard with good positional size who is a standout on both ends of the floor. He can be a playmaker with the ball in his hands who can also score it effectively from all three levels. He ranks amongst the top available senior guards available in all of New England.
