One of the fastest rising 2024 prospects in the nation has announced his top five. After just receiving his first offer in April, Marcus Adams Jr. has become one of the more sought-after wing forwards in the entire nation having received a long list of offers including several from some premier programs coast to coast. Adams is regarded as a top seventy-five prospect in his class nationally.

On Wednesday, the 6’8 junior announced his top five that consists of Mississippi State, Oregon, Syracuse, Texas, and UCLA. The top five comes after he was just offered from Oregon a couple weeks ago and took an official visit to Syracuse earlier this week for their game against Virginia.

Some of the schools that did not make the cut for Adams included Kansas City, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Pepperdine, Texas Rio Grande Valley, and Washington State.

Last year, Adams shined on the grassroots scene with both Compton Magic and Elev8 Elite. He has continued that elite level of play into his junior season at Narbonne High School in California. Even at 6’8”, Adams has a very high skill level and is a standout on both ends of the floor. While he is currently in the 2024 class, there is the possibility he could join the 2023 class and look to enter the college ranks this fall.
