After having just announced his top five colleges recently, Elijah Moore has now made his college commitment on Saturday. Moore, a 6’3” 2024 shooting guard of Cardinal Hayes High School (NY) and the Wiz Kids program, announcement his college commitment to Syracuse University.
The commitment comes after Moore had just taken a visit up to Syracuse on Tuesday for their matchup against North Carolina. He has previously taken a trip to the in-state school in October for his official visit as well as back in August for their elite camp.
The junior chose the Orange over his other four finalist which included Alabama, Arkansas, Miami, and Oklahoma State. He was initially offered by Syracuse last year in April following his play with the Wiz Kids. He had also received offers from Cal, Illinois, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Seton Hall, UConn, among others before announcing his top five.
Moore ranks as a top seventy-five player nationally in the 2024 class. He marks Coach Boeheim and staff’s first commitment for the Orange’s 2024 recruitment class. The guard is one of the top shooters in the entire nation for the 2024 class.
