Following his grassroots season with 3D Empire over the spring and summer, Kuol Atak has emerged as one of the top forwards nationally in the 2024 class. Over the course of just a few months, the 6’8” junior went from an unknown on the national level, to a top one hundred ranked recruits in the entire nation.

From his play over the course of the spring and summer, Atak was named to the first team at the 16U level of the NY2LA Association. Additionally, he was named as the top prospect at the 16U level. Even at 6’8”, Atak is one of the top shooters in the entire nation. As well to having a pure stroke spotting up from deep with the ability to always get his shot off, he can also handle the ball and hit shots off the dribble. Atak also has good length and agility to be highly impactful on both ends.

To start the high school season, Atak is already in mid-season form. Over the course of four game at the Mavs Fall Classic this season, the forward averaged a whopping 31 points.

While he is still a highly under recruited player with all he can do on the floor at his height, he still does hold a few offers. Colorado State, St. Louis, and Mississippi State have offered Atak so far.

Even with the few offers he does have, look for the prized 2024 prospect to greatly increase this number over the winter at Haltom High School (TX) and into the spring. There are few players with his combination of size and skill.
