One of the top big men in the entire nation has trimmed his list of college options. After having received over twenty scholarship offers over the past couple of years, Isaiah Miranda is down to eight programs to choose from.

Georgetown, Louisville, Oregon, Rhode Island, Texas, UCLA, UConn, and USC all made the cut of the 7’1” senior. Some of the schools that had previously offered Miranda and did not make the list of eight include Maryland, Memphis, Oklahoma State, Rutgers, Virginia Tech, and others.

During his time playing with the Rhode Island Elite program, Miranda showcased that he is one of the most gifted and unique big men nationally. Even while standing at 7’1” with his great length, he is a remarkably agile and athletic player. There are few players anywhere at his size that have his mobility to defend out on the perimeter. As well, Miranda has great shot blocking ability, has a big motor, and a versatile offensive game.

After attending Springfield Commonwealth last season, the top thirty nationally ranked player has transferred to SoCal Academy for his senior year.
