With an impressive start to his spring while playing with Team Temple, Corey Hadnot has pulled in another offer for himself. This scholarship offer came from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Hadnot is a 6’3” junior guard that attends Cypress Creek High School in Texas.
“Explosive with high basketball IQ. All-around player, like to focus on defense as well as offense, strong mid-range game and getting downhill,” is how Hadnot described his own game.
The other division one offer for Hadnot currently is Texas-Rio Grande Valley. He also has interest from numerous programs including Air Force, Army, IUPUI, Louisiana Tech, Oral Roberts, and Texas State.
The offer from Texas A&M-Corpus Christi comes after Hadnot took a visit to the Southland Conference school. “Absolutely great,” is how he first described the visit. “Love the coaches, love the school, great academics, love the style of play.”
While it will be more than a year before Hadnot steps upon his college campus, there is one main thing he is looking for, “just fit.” He continued with “It has to be the right fit overall. On an off the court. Academics, basketball, people, area, just the right fit.”
