During this year on the NY2LA Association, Tucker Mills was one of the top players at the 2023 level. Playing with the Rocky Mountain Select out of Colorado, the 6’5” two guard was able to earn himself honorable mention all-league honors at the 16U level.
He has followed up his impressive spring and summer, with a good start to the high school season. So far season, Mills is averaging 24 points and 8 rebounds while shooting over 50% from the field as well to 44% from beyond the arc.
Mills has good positional size in the backcourt as well to being a knockdown shooter. He has great form on his jumper to shoot it extremely well spotting up from the outside but also has the ability to create his own shot. As well to his shooting, Mills can get to the basket plus has good athleticism and length.
More college coaches have continued to notice all the talents of Mills over the past several months. To this point, University of Louisiana Monroe has offered him. Colorado State, Northern Colorado, UC-San Diego, Washington State, and West Virginia are just some of the other schools to have expressed interest in him.
Not only a standout on the hardwood, but Mills also excels in the classroom. The junior holds a 3.9 GPA. Look for his recruitment to continue to grow if he continues his stellar high school season.
