The state of Texas has produced some of the best guards nationally over the course of the last few years and much attention has been spent focusing on the class 2023 and 2024. The class of 2025 has a special talent that is just starting to blossom and his name is Jaden Holt out of Episcopal High School in Houston. He has his eyes set on being the next big-name guard out of the state and his just figuring out how to put it all together. The scary part is that with his unbelievable work ethic and drive, his ceiling is unlimited.
Standing at 5’10, he is a decent size for an elite level point guard. He is impossible to stay in front of in the half court. He is an elite ball handler who can break defenses down off the dribble and get to the paint from anywhere in the half court. He sees plays before they happen and delivers passes with precision to his teammates. He seems to always know how to put them position to score the ball and feeds off being the leader on the floor. He has put in a lot of work on his three-point shooting and has become a legitimate three level scorer and is one of the most complete guards that you will find in his class.
Defensively he is just as good as on the offensive end. He takes pride in taking on the best player on the opposing end and shutting him down. He has great instincts on ball and is constantly picking the pockets of guards who put the ball in front of him. He also plays the passing lanes very well and gets a lot of steals that lead to easy transition buckets for his team. He rebounds the ball well for his size and has great fundamentals in terms of boxing out. He sets the tone for his team and is the ultimate leader on the floor as well as in the classroom. He has put himself in position to be a highly sought-after prospect and uses each day to add a new piece to his game.

He currently holds offers from the TCU and Tulsa. He also drawing interest from the likes of Georgetown, Rice, Sam Houston State, and Texas Southern. We fully expect for him to have big season for his school as well as next spring and summer during the travel season
