He loves to play above the rim and when his teammates lob it up to him in the half court or open court a jaw dropping dunk is usually the result. The biggest are where has begun to improve is his outside shooting. He has extended his range over the last year and is now more comfortable shooting the three. This is what makes him a such an intriguing prospect in today’s era of basketball. He has also put in countless time on the court to improve his free throw shooting.
Defensively, his teams consider him the anchor on the floor. He is vocal and active and does not take any plays off. He is one dive on the ground for loose balls as well as fight to get offensive rebounds. He has sound defensive principles, and this is what keeps his out of foul trouble compared to other forwards his age. He boxes out well and has the speed and quickness to stay with smaller opponents in situations where he must switch on screens. He is a great shot blocker as well as someone who can alter shots of offensive player who challenge him the paint. These tangible skills he possesses have started to get division one programs to begin paying attention.
