The 2010 Swish & Dish Spring Warm-Up takes center stage this weekend (April 2-4, 2010) as the grassroots travel circuit tips off with a bang and Milwaukee, Wisconsin is on the clock as a plethora of top prospects from across the country head to the Badger State for the 5th annual event.  While Homestead, M.S.O.E., and West Allis Central will all be utilized this weekend, the majority of the 16U games will all be held at Homestead in Mequon, Wisconsin.

After focusing on the 17U division yesterday (CLICK HERE to see 17U Preview), today we drop down and look at a strong 16U division set to invade Wisconsin this weekend.  The 16U division of the tournament will offer up many of the premiere 2012 prospects in the region as circuit powers such as All-Ohio Red, Mac Irvin Fire, St. Louis Eagles, SYF Players, Full Package, Playground Elite, D.T.A., IL Rising Stars, Wisconsin Swing, Team NLP, and Kingdom Hoops will look to fight out talented programs like the Wisconsin Blizzard, Bound For Glory, BBG, Hammond Hurricanes, Wisconsin Playmakers, Illinois Old School, Ferrari, CB Bulldawgs, Wisconsin Blaze, Illinois Wolverines, Da Future, Wisconsin Starz, Friends 4 Life, Iowa Bulldogs, Dayton Nets, Friends of Hoop and the Wisconsin Bobcats in another loaded pool of talent. 

Some of the premiere prospects expected to participate in the 16U division this weekend include the likes of Elijah Macon (All-Ohio Red - #23 in NY2LASports.com Top 100 for Class of 2012); Arroyo Edwards (Playground Elite - #41 in NY2LASports.com Top 100); Phillip Nolan (D.T.A. - #92 in NY2LASports.com Top 100); Charles Harris (Full Package Elite - #98 in NY2LASports.com Top 100). 

Also set to take on the 16U division will be a host of talented freshman including the #1 freshman in the country in Peter Jok (Kingdom Hoops - #1 in NY2LASports.com Top 100 for Class of 2013) as well as the likes of Thomas Hamilton Jr. (Mac Irvin Fire - #14 in NY2LASports.com Top 100); Duane Wilson Jr. (Playground Elite - #20 in NY2LASports.com Top 100); and Nick Fuller (Wisconsin Swing - #89 in NY2LASports.com Top 100). 

A flurry of talents on the cusp of cracking the Top 100 will look to make names for themselves as well including, but not limited to, the likes of Darrell Bowie (IL Rising Stars - Gold); Sam Mader (Randolph Boys Club); Glenn Robinson Jr. (SYF Players); Colin Ferguson (St. Louis Eagles); Zak Showalter (Wisconsin Swing); Casey Kasperbauer (Kingdom Hoops); Otis Pirtle (Playground Elite); Brandon Marquardt (Randolph Boys Club); and last year's 15U division M.V.P. the ultra quick Antonio Hopkins (St. Louis Eagles), amongst others.
