We continue our trek into different parts of the country as we glance at emerging 2022 prospect looking to make their mark over the next 10-12 months.  Today we peek into Colorado where talented lead guard Brock Mishak of Fossil Ridge HS (CO) is opening some eyes.

A talented 6-3 165 pound guard from Fort Collins, Colorado, Mishak is a talented blend of instincts, skill, and toughness.  He handles the ball well, he can create off the bounce, he has solid timing on his passes and he sees the floor well.  His size as a lead guard gives him an advantage most nights but his advanced skill is what sets him apart as he’s shown a consistent ability to score from all three levels.  He can score through traffic, knock down the mid-range pull up, and he’s solid off the dribble or in a catch and shoot capacity beyond the arc.  He’s not just an offensive talent either as Mishak has shown solid tough defensive ability on and off the ball and he’s a quality rebounder for a guard giving him the impact the floor with and without the ball, an intriguing quality that not all prospects possess or want to do.

While most schools right now are focused on who is returning, the transfer portal, whatever is left in 2021, etc. at some point that focus will move into the 2022 class and Mishak is going to be a solid target for Division 1 or high level Division 2 schools looking for an impactful floor general.  He plays with the Colorado Chaos during the grassroots travel season.
