In today’s game, the big man has become more increasingly used in ways that differ from in years past.  Class of 2022 C Dock Muordar fits the bill of an old school post but boasts the skill set of a new age big on the offensive and defensive end.  Standing 7’0, he has a quiet demeanor and is extremely humble, but he is force to be reckoned with.  He has a chance to be not only one of the best in Houston, but one of the best in the country when it is all said and done.

The Premier Academy standout has an incredible instinct and feel for the game.  Offensively he can play with his back to the basket and create incredible size matchups for anyone at the high school level.  He possesses great footwork around the paint and finishes well at the rim with contact.  He is solid in pick and roll situations because of his increased ability to shoot the outside shot.  His range is getting increasingly better as teams try to push him away from the basket and he has developed the ability to put it on the floor and pull up for mid-range jump shots.  While still improving his free throws, he has increasingly showed more consistency from the foul stripe as teams are constantly getting in foul trouble because of his aggressiveness attacking the rim.

Defensively he excels because of his motor.  His size and length make it extremely difficult for post players to get position against him down low.  He anticipates very well and is the ultimate rim protector.  He is a gifted rebounder.  He understands where he is on the floor and boxes out well to couple his height.  This gives him the ultimate advantage for players his age.  His steady improvement and attitude on and off the court are just a few of the reasons that college coaches are making him one of their top targets.

His play has landed him offers from LSU and Oregon State.  He has also heard and actively been in contact with a host of other programs and his list of offers will only grow as schools make him a top priority over the next 12 months.  Muordar plays for a talented Select One AAU team in the Houston area.
