COMMITMENTS
2015 PG Glynn Watson of St. Josephs (IL) came off the board over the weekend as the talented lead guard verbally committed to Nebraska.  He played with the Illinois Wolves during the grassroots travel season.

2015 SF Admiral Schofield of Zion-Benton (IL) also came off the board with a verbal commitment to Tennessee over the weekend.  He played with the Team NLP program this summer.

Former Maryland commit Trayvon Reed announced that he will attend Auburn.  Reed is currently attending Elev8 Academy in Florida for the semester.  He played with both the Atlanta Xpress and Each 1 Teach 1 programs during the grassroots travel season.

2017 PG Connor McCaffery of Iowa City West (IA) verbally committed to the Iowa Hawkeyes on Saturday.  The two sport standout plays with the Iowa Barnstormers during the grassroots travel season.  McCaffery is the son of current Iowa Hawkeyes Head Coach Fran McCaffery.

2017 PG Markus Howard of Perry High School (AZ) came off the board last week as the highly regarded young floor general verbally committed to Herb Sendek and the Arizona State Sun Devils.  He played with the Arizona Power during the grassroots travel season.

Oregon State struck big on the trail Tuesday as they landed three recruits in 2015 SF Tres Tinkle of Missoula Hellgate HS in Montana, 2015 SG Stephen Thompson Jr. of Bishop Montgomery in California, and 2015 PG Derrick Bruce of Elev8 Basketball Academy in Florida all verbally committed to the Beavers.  Tinkle played for the Idaho Select, Thompson for Superior Athletes, and Bruce for the Inland Empire during the grassroots travel season.  Tinkle is the son of current Oregon State Head Coach Wayne Tinkle while Thompson is the son of former Syracuse star Stephen Thompson.

2014 NY2LA SPORTS BREAKFAST OF CHAMPIONS FALL BASKETBALL LEAGUE
The annual NY2LA Sports Breakfast of Champions Fall Basketball League is set to tip off again this October in Wisconsin.  The league is open to 2015-2018 prospects (i.e. HS Freshman-Seniors).  The annual high school platform the serves as a skill development, exposure, and high school season preparation league boasts an alumni of some of the top talented in recent history including, but not limited to, the likes of Jean-Pierre Tokoto (North Carolina), Luke Fischer (Marquette), Kevon Looney (UCLA), Nick Fuller (Nebraska), Zak Showalter (Wisconsin), Carrington Love (UW-Green Bay), Jordan Fouse (UW-Green Bay), Elgin Cook (Oregon), David Jesperson (Pepperdine), Charles Lee (Cleveland State), Duane Wilson Jr. (Marquette), Jake Thomas (Marquette), Deonte Burton (Marquette), etc.  The league will run on Sunday mornings October 12th, October 19th, and October 26th from 8 am – 1 pm at Milwaukee Lutheran High School (WI) and it will once again feature skill work along with full length game play.  CLICK HERE for more information on the 2014 NY2LA Sports Breakfast of Champions Fall Basketball League.

NY2LA SPORTS FUTURES CAMP - OCTOBER 25, 2014
The prestigious NY2LA Sports Futures Camp that has launched a number of the top prospects in the country into the national spotlight in recent history returns again this fall on October 25, 2014 at Milwaukee Lutheran High School in Wisconsin.  Past camp MVP’s have been Semi Ojeleye (Duke), Cliff Alexander (Kansas), Deonte Burton (Marquette), Kevon Looney (UCLA), Diamond Stone (TBD), Jimmy Whitt (Arkansas), and Joseph Toye (Vanderbilt).  The one day camp will offer up skill work along with full length game play once again and is open to 2016-2018 prospects to attend (i.e. Freshman-Juniors).  For more information on the 2014 Futures Camp CLICK HERE

GENERATION NEXT TIP-OFF - NOVEMBER 15-16, 2014
