As one of the top guards in Wisconsin’s 2026 class, Kayden Schultz has added another scholarship offer to his growing list. The newest one for the 6’3” guard of Plymouth High School and Chapman North Basketball came from Hillsdale College. In his junior season, he earned all-state honors from the WBCA as well to conference player of the year while averaging 28.3 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game.
The offer comes from the division two program in Michigan after they have been recruiting him over the past month. A week prior to Schultz’s offer, he took a visit to Hillsdale. “Their campus was pretty amazing. It seems like they are heading in the right direction for sure both academics and athletics,” he said about his visit.
As well to the offer from Hillsdale College, he has previously been offered by both Michigan Tech and UW-Parkside. In addition to his trio of offers, Schultz is also seeing interest from programs at both the division one and two level. Included in this list is Air Force, Central Michigan, Florida Tech, Green Bay, Samford, among others.
Next up in visits for Schultz over the next couple of weeks for the senior guard is Lake Superior State and then St. Cloud State. This upcoming week, college coaches can see Schultz and Chapman North at the NY2LA Final Chapter and then the NY2LA Summer Jam the next weekend.
