Another Offer For 2025 Moses Wilson

As we move into the new year, Moses Wilson is one of the top available senior wings remaining in Illinois. The 6’5” wing of Waubonsie Valley High School has recently added another scholarship offer for himself. During the last grassroots season, Wilson played with the Illinois Wolves during the summer and previously with Team M14 during the spring.

The newest offer for Wilson came from Newberry College, a division two school in South Carolina. Wilson has some connections to the Newberry coaching staff. During his freshman season, he played for now Newberry College assistant coach Jelani Johnson.

The Newberry College offer marks the third division offer for Wilson. He received his first one back in June from Michigan Tech. Then in October, Purdue Northwest also extended an offer to him. Some of the other schools recruiting him include Lewis University, McKendree College, and Southern Indiana.

Right now, in senior season the lengthy and explosive wing is averaging 15.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.5 steals, and .4 blocks per game for Waubonsie Valley High School. At the moment, Wilson is in no rush to make his college commitment. “After the season is over, I want to stay patient,” he said when asked about a timeline on his collegiate commitment.
