The recruitment wins keep coming for Northern Michigan and head coach Matt Majkrzak. After landing a commitment from Keller Hanson earlier in the week, they have now also added a commitment from Pryce Gregoire. Ross Robertson and Drew Murphy were previous commitments in their 2025 recruitment class.
The 6’6” wing of De Pere High School (WI) and Davis Brothers Elite also had offers from Concordia St. Paul, Michigan Tech, St. Cloud State, and Winona State. “I love the coaching staff at NMU,” Gregoire said his collegiate selection. “They always believed in me and liked all the things I did. They notice all the small details that I do. They see me being a big impact right away as well.”
Gregoire had initially visited Northern Michigan last summer and once again for one of their games this past season. “They have a great community around them,” said about his visits there. “Just love the way they played all around.” Norther Michigan was the first program to offer him, doing so July of last year.
“I see my game being a big part of what they do,” Gregoire said about his future playing for Northern Michigan. “They believe I can make a big impact right away with my shooting and all the other things I do. I think my game will develop as I keep playing there as well. That is the main reason why I chose them because of how much they think my game can help them win and the relationship I built with the coaching staff.”
