As we get deeper into the summer, plenty of players continue to pick up scholarship offers for themselves. One of the most recent from Wisconsin to pull in an offer was Andrew Rader.
This past weekend, the 6’10” 2025 post of Notre Dame Academy and Team Herro received an offer from Saginaw Valley State. The offer from the division two program in Michigan, was the first for Rader. “It feels awesome and I’m really excited. It finally feels like the work is beginning to pay off,” Rader said about receiving his first offer. When speaking about Saginaw Valley state, he said “I really liked their facilities and their plan for the future. The optimism shown by the coaching staff was really intriguing.”
As well to the Saginaw Valley State offer, Rader has drawn interest from a several programs, both at the division two and one levels. Amongst them include Hillsdale College, Minnesota Duluth, North Dakota State, Northern Michigan, Rockhurst, SIUE, and Upper Iowa.
Last month Rader took a visit to one of the programs showing interest in him, Hillsdale College. “Very good,” the rising senior first said about the visit. “I loved their facilities, new renovations, and the prestige of their academics. They were very welcoming, and I overall really enjoyed being on campus. I also liked their coaching staff a lot.”
Up next in his recruitment, Rader is looking at taking visits to Minnesota Duluth, Northern Michigan, Upper Iowa, and others.
