All In Media Day Standouts

The All In Media Day on Thursday featured all their national and regional teams. With several mini scrimmages during the event, plenty of players from the program had stellar performances. Many of these teams will be starting up their spring season tonight at Swish ‘N Dish.

Luca Asanaka – 2025 – G – La Lumiere

Possession after possession, Asanaka proved to be one of the top distributors of the entire event. The 6’3” guard was consistently getting into the defense and sees the floor extremely well on the attack. He was dishing out pinpoint passes all game finding open teammates to set them up. He also scored it effectively getting into the paint and pulling up in the mid-range.

Adam Baird – 2025 – G – Barrington

Throughout his time on the floor, Baird was consistently making plays on the offensive end. Whether he was scoring it himself or creating for others, the junior continued to make plays for his 17U Figueroa NY2LA team. The skilled guard shot it well both from the outside and pulling up in the mid-range but is also smart with the ball in his hands, seeing the floor well distributing it out.

Paiten Bryant – 2027 – G – Evanston

Scoring, defending, motor, the freshman impressed in multiple areas on the court. The guard is a very tough on ball defender who proved to be very tough to beat with his quickness and energy. Whether in the mid-range or from three, Bryant shot the ball well and also scored it effectively in transition quickly getting down the floor with the ball.

Ethan Cloud – 2026 – G – Lane Tech

Cloud really stood out in multiple aspects on the offensive end showing a good ability to be effective playing both on and off the ball. He is a smart guard who handles the ball well and is a very skilled passer. Off the ball he moves well hunting his shot and displayed a smooth jumper spotting up from deep.

Semaje Howard – 2024 – G – Lincoln Park

The senior ended the boy’s portion of the event in a big way. Howard was consistently making plays on the floor and in the matter of a couple minutes of play, the bouncy guard threw down three powerful dunks. Howard also played with great energy at all times on the floor forcing a few turnovers on the defensive end and playing well on the attack in the half court and transition game.

Avonn King – 2026 – G/F – Warren Twp.

The sophomore really stood out throughout his scrimmage with his stellar play on both ends of the floor. Especially on the defensive end where the 6’3” wing played big inside but also defended well out on the perimeter. King played with great energy on the defensive side and impressed with a chase down block in transition. Offensively, King did the bulk of his scoring playing on the attack.

Nathaniel Rouse – 2027 – SF – Wheeling

There are a lot of different aspects to like from the game of the 6’4” wing forward. He is a highly versatile player with a solid frame that was making plenty of plays on both ends all game long. On both ends of the floor Rouse battles inside but also showed a good ability to handle the ball making plays off the dribble and hit shots from the outside. He’s a player to track on the All IN 15U Adidas 3SGB team this spring.

Aiden Patterson – 2026 – G – Schaumburg

Patterson was one of the more skilled guards of the night. The playmaking guard shot it well both off the catch and dribble from deep hitting a few threes during the event. He has a great looking shot and was hitting his outside shots at a high percentage. More than a shooter, Patterson also made some plays on the attack getting all the way to the basket and finishing.

Colton Thakkar – 2026 – PG – Lake Forest Academy

Thakkar was one of the better point guards of the night. He excels with the ball in his hands as a very dynamic playmaker continuously getting into the paint. The sophomore has very good moves beating defenders with ease and sees the floor well. Thakkar finished it well all around the paint in addition to playing with plenty of energy on the defensive side.

Bobby Vespa – 2025 – G/F – Lyons Twp.

The wing was one of a few standouts from this talented 17U All In Adidas 3SGB team. He has some size out on the wings at 6’5” with good length in addition to a nice skill set. Vespa did most his scoring from the outside with a smooth jumper from the outside but is also effective off the dribble. He has plenty of tools for the next level and is an intriguing 2025 wing.
