One of the breakout stars this season in Wisconsin’s 2026 class has been Aiden Crane of Parkview High School. After averaging 14.5 points last season as a sophomore, he has greatly upped that number to be one of the leading scorers in the entire state.
As the end of the regular season nears with just a pair of games remaining, the 6’0” point guard is currently averaging 27.6 points per game to lead his team to a 13-9 record. This is in addition to 4.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 4.5 steals per game. “I contribute all of the unseen hours in the gym to my success this season,” he said about the growth of his game. “What you are seeing this season is the result of countless time spent in the gym and weight-room. I knew all of the work I put in would soon begin to show, it was just a matter of time and trusting in God’s plan. I give a lot of credit to all of my trainers and coaches who have believed in me and pushed me to my greatest potential.”
His scoring outburst this season has also led him to reach the lofty one-thousand-point milestone already as a junior last month doing so in a 40 point outburst. “Once I hit the 1,000th point mark, it really struck me that with hard, consistent work, comes results. It was so relieving to see that everything is starting to fall into place,” Crane said about hitting the milestone. Another milestone he set was the single game scoring record for Parkview in January. He did this while scoring 52 points in a game in which he hit eight three pointers.
Next up in his junior season, Crane is looking to help his team make a run in the upcoming playoffs. “My school hasn’t seen much success in athletics before this year, so a playoff run would be huge in terms of a culture change. I would also like to finish the season staying in the state’s top leaderboard for points and steals.”
Even with the great growth of his game, that has yet to translate to his recruitment for now. Crane will be playing with Team FVV looking to get his recruitment jumpstarted this spring.
