With another offer this month, the recruitment of Mitch Finefrock is starting to heat up for Mitch Finefrock. As well, the 6’2” senior guard of All Ohio Select and Jackson High School has also taken a visit recently.
The newest offer for the sharpshooting guard came from Jefferson University earlier this month. This came following a visit to the Pennsylvania school. “It was really good,” Finefrock said about the trip. “The players were super nice, and I like their system. I also like the area of Philadelphia that it’s in.” When asked what he likes about Jefferson, he said “I like that Coach Reilly is a basketball junkie. That definitely aligns with me. He watches a ton of film and loves the game which is great. I also liked the facilities.”
As well to the visit to Jefferson, Finefrock has also recently taken one to Indiana Wesleyan. When asked about the visit, he said “It was really fun. I did a 6am junkyard workout with the team and then we had an open gym with the guys later that day, so it was definitely a full day. They have a very good culture of winning.”
On which schools are recruiting him the hardest currently, Finefrock mentioned St. Francis (PA) and Jefferson. “(They) have shown lots of interest and obviously have offered as well.” Other schools to have offered him include Columbia and Rider.
“If it’s a place I’m comfortable with and really like I’m open to committing early. I also am open to waiting,” Finefrock said on a timeline on his commitment.
