ALL IN Fall League Standouts – Part 2

A second group of standouts from the ALL IN Fall League this past Sunday who also had some big timer performances.

Kate Adriano – 2028 – PG

In each of her games on the day, Adriano was a real playmaker on both sides of the ball. She is very quick and a highly active defender out on the perimeter locking down opposing guards. While she can hit the three, she exceled on the attack. Adriano sees the floor well on the attack and quickly dished it out to teammates.

Mia Andrews – 2027 – G – New Trier

There are a lot of aspects to like from the game of Andrews with her positional size, energetic play, defensive play, and ability playing on the attack. She constantly played with great energy on the defensive side also battling to defend both guards and forwards plus is vocal. Andrews played aggressive attacking the basket using her strength to get all the way to the basket and finish.

Eve Engler – 2028 – G – Deerfield

While only a freshman, there is already so much to like from the game of Engler. She stood out mainly on Sunday with her shooting ability. In one of her games, she scored her team’s first twelve points while going 4-4 from deep. Engler has such a pure stroke from deep and also showed the ability to create her own shot. More than a shooter, she also has a well-rounded skill set with a high IQ and some positional size at 5’10”.

Kourtnie Halperin – 2027 – PG – Highland Park

Halperin is a true floor general who has consistently played well during the fall league. She plays well beyond her years reading the floor and moves extremely well with the ball with her quickness and handle. She is an extremely skilled passer who made a few very good passes on the day and is always looking to create for others. A true playmaker as she is also a good quick decision maker.

Gianna LaVecchia – 2027 – PG – Maine South

Along with Hayden Fahy, the pair formed a great playmaking backcourt that led Maine South to the championship victory. As well to being a skilled guard, she was playing with great energy flying around the court making plenty of plays. The sophomore handles the ball very well with good moves getting wherever she wants on the floor. While LaVecchia scored it efficiently in numerous ways, she really looks to distribute the ball and created very well for others.
