The NY2LA Thanksgiving Shootout tips off on the weekend of November 16th-17th. The entire tournament will be held at Homestead High School in Mequon, Wisconsin, a northern suburb of Milwaukee.
The tournament is open to 4th-8th grade teams (10U-14U), both school feeder and travel teams. The Thanksgiving Shootout will be open to both boys as well as girls teams. It will mark the start of the GGNBA, Girls Got Next Basketball Association.
Teams from both Wisconsin and Illinois are already registered to attend. Past participants of NY2LA tournaments includes Jayson Tatum, Jalen Brunson, Tyrese Haliburton, Chet Holmgren, Tyler Herro, Jalen Johnson, Matas Buzelis, Myles Turner, Jordan Poole, in addition to dozens of other NBA players.
