Ayden Jensen Is A Name To Know

While continuing to grow his game and showing a lot of tools over the grassroots seasons with MidPro Academy, Ayden Jensen is still an under the radar player in Illinois’ 2026 class. Jensen is a 6’8” power forward who attends Tri-Valley High School.

“My season with MidPro was good,” Jensen said about his grassroots season. “I was able to grow individually and put to use my shooting skills on the perimeter.” Along with 6’10” Jaxon Clark, the duo formed one of the top 2026 front courts on the NY2LA Association this season.

“Versatile” is the first thing Jensen said when describing his own game. “I can move well for my size. I have good post footwork, can score on the inside and can knock down shots on the perimeter.” Throughout the spring and summer, Jensen showcased a unique blend of tools. There are few juniors in the region at 6’8” who can match his shooting, mobility, length, and well-rounded game.

Moving forward, Jensen is looking to improve his athleticism, shooting percentage, and overall strength. As well, he has some goals for his upcoming junior season at Tri-Valley High School. “Be a leader on my team. Inspire my teammates to improve our game as a team. Make a deep run in playoffs.”

So far, Jensen has received some interest from both division one and two programs. Look for the number of schools to recruit the high upside junior to only greatly build over the next several months.
