Recruitment Starting to Soar For Kevo St. Hilaire

Kevo St. Hilaire has become a very popular big man amongst college coaches over the past several weeks. The 6’10” senior center of West Lafayette High School (IN) and Legacy Ice Elite has received offers from both division two and NAIA programs recently.

The offers started back at the end of August when Kentucky State gave him his first offer while on a visit. Following the first offer his recruitment has taken off as he has also been offered by Goshen College, Marian University, New College of Florida, Taylor University, and University of St. Francis.

In just the past couple of weeks, St. Hilaire has been very busy with not only receiving the offers but a few visits too. This has included ones to St. Francis, Marian, and Taylor. “I really enjoyed my visit to Saint Francis,” he said about the first of these. “Their campus was very clean and relaxing, and they had some nice training facilities. They had a really good plan for developing me as a player which is a huge point of emphasis for me.”

“The visit to Marian was awesome! The coaches really went out of their way to make me feel valued and the facilities and accommodations they offered were extremely impressive.”

“The visit to Taylor was really good. The coaches had a really good idea of what I could bring to their program, and they believed in me as a prospect. Their weight facilities and locker rooms were really nice as well.”

As well to the offers, he is also had numerous other division two and NAIA programs show interest as well to some low major division one programs. St. Hilaire is looking for a program that can help develop him into a dominant big man as well work on his outside game. “I’m also looking for a college with good academics and high-quality facilities.” At the moment, he has no timeline on a commitment.
