Recruitment Heating Up For Jamison Beesley

It has been a busy couple of weeks for the recruitment of Jamison Beesley. While the 6’3” senior guard of Waterford Union High School (WI) and Team Haliburton had been offered by division three and NAIA programs over the summer, he has recently picked up a pair of offers from division two programs.

Back in the end of August, Bemidji State offered Beesley. Then more recently, Wayne State also extended an offer to him. Both of the offers for the senior came on campus visits. He was previously offered by Dakota State and Rockford University.

“I really enjoyed the scenery at Bemidji,” Beesley said about his visit back in August to the Minnesota school. On what he likes about the basketball program, he responded “the coaching staff.”

Next up for visits was over to Michigan to Wayne State. “My visit to Wayne State was spectacular, the coaches treated my mom and I very well and I really enjoyed the team, campus, coaches and the environment all around me.” On what he liked about Wayne State, he said “the people and culture.”

Beesley would like to make his college commitment the day before signing day. Depending on when he does make his commitment, he may be visiting Hillsdale College prior to the commitment.
