One of Michigan’s top available senior forwards his nearing in on a college commitment. Parker LePla, a 6’8” forward of Goodrich High School and D Rice Elite said he is “definitely” looking to make his college selection in the next month.
LePla has been offered by several division two programs from all around the Midwest. The offer list for him includes Grand Valley State, Lake Superior State, Michigan Tech, Minnesota Duluth, Saginaw Valley State, and most recently University of Indianapolis which he received this past weekend.
Recently, LePla has taken a trio of campus visits going to Grand Valley State, Lake Superior State, and University of Indianapolis. For his visit to Grand Valley State, LePla stated “I really liked the facilities and the campus.”
“I liked the coaches and the culture of the program,” he said for his Lake Superior State trip. For the school to offer him most recently, he said “I liked the play style and the team environment,” regarding his University of Indianapolis visit.
As well to those three campus visits, he has also had in home visits with Grand Valley State and Saginaw Valley State recently. Up next for him is a visit to Minnesota Duluth this weekend. “I like a program with a good team culture, and a competitive team,” is what LePla is looking for in his future college program.
