Amari Allen Commits To Alabama

On Tuesday, Nate Oats and Alabama got their 2025 recruiting class started. They landed a commitment from 6’6” wing guard Amari Allen. The commitment comes after Allen recently took his official visit to Tuscaloosa. Alabama is coming off a season in which they went to their programs first final four. In this upcoming season, they look to be ranked as one of the top three teams in the nation preseason. 

Allen got his prep career started at Kaukauna High School (WI) where he averaged 22.7 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.8 steals per game. For his sophomore season he then made the move to Florida to powerhouse IMG Academy. Now for his senior season, he has made the move back to Wisconsin to finish off his high school career at Ashwaubenon High School. 

Back in July, Allen announced his top six schools. In addition to Alabama, Central Florida, Minnesota, Mississippi State, and Nevada were a part of it. Other schools to had previously offered Allen included Creighton, Florida State, Iowa, Indiana, Marquette, Penn State, Villanova, among many others. 

Allen is a top one hundred player nationally including being ranked as high as fifty second by Rivals. Alabama is landing a powerful wing guard with great positional size at 6’6”. As well, he brings a well-rounded game with the ability to play multiple positions on both ends of the floor. 

He played with the Power 5 program.
