Over the past few months, Ethan Edwards has been one of the biggest stock risers in Indiana’s 2025 class. The 6’6” two guard is coming off a big grassroots summer while playing with Legacy Ice Elite.
In July at both the NY2LA Summer Jam and Final Chapter tournaments, Edwards was one of the top players at each of them. He mainly stood out with his great scoring ability as at each tournament he had multiple thirty plus point games.
Back in May, Edwards picked up his first offer from Saint Mary of the Wood’s. More recently in July, he received his first division two offer coming from University of Indianapolis. “I loved the campus, their facilities and you could definitely tell the coach’s wanted me to be there they took care of me and my family wonderfully,” Edwards said about Indianapolis.
As well to the pair offers, Edwards has also started to draw interest from several division one programs. The ones who he has been consistently talking to are Air Force, Buffalo, North Dakota State, Portland State, and Valparaiso. The senior is currently working on setting dates on visits to both Air Force and Portland State in the coming weeks. “Winning program. Good team culture. Coaches that care about me and will push me to be better on and off the court,” are some of the things he is looking for in his future program.
Look for Edwards to be a popular target in his upcoming senior year at Whiteland high School.
