2026 C Jaxon Clark Visits Illinois

On Thursday, Jaxon Clark took his first college visit. The 6’10” junior post of MidPro Academy and Keokuk High School (IA) made the trip to University of Illinois.

“The visit was really great,” Clark said about his visit to Illinois. “I got to see the whole campus and watch a practice.” When asked if there is anything he likes about the Illini, Clark said “I like how they run things in their program. They get after it, but also show some competitiveness, and also a bit of fun. They genuinely seem like a family.”

While Illinois has been his only visit, several other programs have started showing interest in him. Amongst them include Central Michigan, Southeast Missouri State, and Western Michigan.

Over the course of the grassroots season while playing with MidPro Academy, Clark was one of the fastest rising players on the NY2LA Association. “The season went really well. I finally started getting into my comfort zone a little bit which is always great.” As well to a growing skill set with his ability to spot up for threes and score posting up, his physical tools have also jumped with increased mobility, good feet, and growing a few inches to 6’10”.
