Brady Swartz Breakdowns Michigan Visit

Month after month, the recruitment of Brady Swartz has continued to pick up. Not only with interest but with visits and offers for the 6’7” junior of Northview High School (MI) and the Midwest Basketball Club.

Entering 2024, Swartz had just a pair of division two offers coming from Northwood and Wayne State. However at the end of January, the junior added two additional scholarship offers for himself including his first division one offer. The offers came from Grand Valley State and Western Michigan.

The most recent news in his recruitment was he took a visit to Michigan. “It was a great visit,” Swartz said about his visit to Ann Arbor over the weekend for their game versus Nebraska. Adding in “pretty cool atmosphere and great coaches.” When asked about the Michigan program, he said “I liked how nice the gym as and how big the environment was.”

Swartz had also taken a visit to Dayton in February as well. In addition to his offers and his most recent visits, some of the programs that are showing the most interest in him include Central Michigan, Dayton, George Mason, Kent State, Princeton, Toledo, and Western Michigan. Up next for visits is one to Princeton who wants him to take a visit east there to their New Jersey campus.

In his junior season, he averaged 18.6 points, 8 rebounds, 1.8 assists, and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 63.6% from the field and 46.7% from three.
