Jack Reddick Talks Florida Gulf Coast Commitment

The newest division one commitment from Kentucky took place on Wednesday. This happened when senior Jack Reddick of Lyon County High School announced his commitment to Florida Gulf Coast University of the Atlantic Sun Conference.

The timeline of Reddick’s recruitment quickly came along over the past month. The commitment takes place after Reddick just was offered by Florida Gulf Coast a couple of weeks prior to the commitment. He then visited the Fort Myers campus just a few days later. “My visit to FGCU was perfect,” Reddick stated regarding his trip south. “I got to see everything in a short time span. The way Coach Chambers ran practice, how all the coaches interacted the players, how the players interacted with each other, campus was awesome, and I loved Fort Myers! After my visit I knew that FGCU was where I needed to be!”

There were several different aspects that came into Reddick’s choosing Florida Gulf Coast. From the division one level, The Citadel had also offered him. “Whenever I first started talking to Coach Francis at FGCU I knew there was something there and as I started to build the relationship with Coach Chambers and the rest of the coaching staff I knew that they were the right coaches for me! Then when I went on my visit and got to see campus, hangout with all of the players and the coaches I immediately knew that this was where I was supposed to be! It all just felt like home. Everything about FGCU was exactly what I was wanting in a school.”
