As he is nearing the end of his senior season, Jay Rose is getting close to a college commitment. The 6’4” wing of Madison Southern High School (KY) and the Griffin Elite program has continued to pull in offers over the past few months.
With his lengthy list of offers, he has pulled them in from schools on various levels. The most recent offer came from a NAIA program, Shawnee State University coming just a few days ago. The other schools to have also extended an offer to the senior include Brescia, Calhoun Community College, Colorado College, East Mississippi, Enterprise State, Georgetown College, Kentucky Christian, Transylvania, among others.
As well to the offers some of the other programs showing interest in him now include Embry-Riddle, Pitt-Johnstown, in addition to numerous division three programs. So far, he has taken visits to Embry-Riddle, Georgetown College, and Transylvania.
In midst of his senior season, Rose is currently averaging 23.1 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists per game. As part of his stellar high school career, he also reached a very lofty career milestone recently. Last month, Rose was able to score his 2,000th career high school point.
With his senior season coming towards an end, Rose will be looking to make his college commitment once his high school season is complete.
