The recruitment is starting to pick up for one of the top juniors in Illinois, Ian Miletic. The 6’7” wing of Rolling Meadows High School and the Illinois Wolves added an offer from Marquette this weekend. This comes after he picked up an offer from Miami (OH) earlier this month.
The offer from Marquette comes after Miletic visited the Milwaukee school for their game on Monday. “It was good,” he said about the visit. “Atmosphere was great there. Got to meet Dwayne Wade after the game in the locker room.” The Marquette coaching staff has been recruiting him over the past month. “Have enjoyed getting to know the coaching staff and meeting the players when I went to the game.”
In addition to the Marquette visit, he also took one at the start of the month to the other school to have offered him. “My visit to Miami of Ohio was great. It’s a beautiful school and the coaching staff there is very welcoming. Will definitely try and make it back down there sometime soon in the near future. Enjoyed getting introduced to their program with my family.”
Some of the other schools to have reached out to him include Belmont, Columbia, Harvard, Illinois, Loyola, Minnesota, UIC, Wisconsin, Yale, among several others. Up next for visits include one next month to Loyola as well he is looking to see some Ivy League schools over the summer who are recruiting him.
