The ALL IN fall league once again has plenty of talent. This was especially the case this past Sunday at the Berto Center. Here are the first group of standouts from the days action.
Lizzy Andriano – PG – Rolling Meadows
While there were plenty of high energy plays at the Fall League on Sunday, Andriano was possibly playing with the most energy throughout the entire day. She is quick and was consistently playing extremely active on the ball defensively locking down some good opposing guards. Offensively, she is a skilled distributor who was a pass first point guard but also can shoot it from the outside.
Siena Gounaris – G – ALL IN Kahleaf
The young guard has a very high skill set on the offensive end as she was scoring the ball from all three levels. Gounaris shot it well spotting up from the outside but was also able to create her own shot in the mid-range. She moves well with the ball whether creating in the mid-range or getting all the way to the basket and also scored it often on cuts to the bucket.
Kourtneie Halperin – PG – Highland Park
Halperin continues to be a standout with her playmaking ability with the ball in her hands. She has great court awareness but excels with her moves with the ball. She is incredibly elusive getting into the defensive to be able to get into the paint and finish we as create for herself in the mid-range hitting several jumpers in her games.
Taylor Moser – G – Hustle
Even as just an incoming freshman, Moser showed a high skill level and versatility throughout the day. The Fremd guard has good size in the backcourt as well to showing she can make an impact an impact numerous ways. Moser showed she can run the point but also defend both guards and forwards. Moser was effective scoring the ball on the attack and finishing it strong around the bucket, pushed it well in transition and was a playmaker defensively with steals and deflections playing active.
Abby Ramel – SF – Rolling Meadows
The senior was very effective in each of her games. This was especially true in her first game down the stretch of regulation as well as in overtime with some key baskets, rebounds, and defensive stops. She scored it very well going strong to the bucket, hitting several threes, and on put backs. Ramel was one of the top rebounders of the day playing very aggressive on the glass on both ends.
Anissa Stanley – G – ALL IN Kahleaf
Even at her young age, Stanley was one of the top shooters of the day. Early in her first game, the guard knocked down back-to-back threes on her way to hitting a trio of threes in just the first half alone. Stanley has a pure jumper spotting up the outside but also showed the ability to handle the ball and attack the basket.
Amanda Tunkel – PG – Glenbrook South
Even as just an incoming freshman, Tunkel is a highly skilled point guard who knows to play. She has all the point guard tools playing strong with the ball with great handle, reading the floor, being able to create for teammates, being able to defend the ball, but can also score it herself very well. She scored it efficiently shooting it off the dribble but also looks to distribute the ball. Tunkel consistently showed her ability to take over games.
