During his high school career, the recruitment interest of Pavle Djilas has only continued to greatly build. This has included the interest of some high major programs as well for the 6’7” junior wing guard of Brookfield Academy (WI).
Most recently in his recruitment, Djilas took a visit to Navy this past weekend. “My visit to Navy was a great experience,” the junior stated on his trip to the Annapolis campus. “The atmosphere, coaches and players all really stood out to me. It was all very professional and impressive.” When asked if there is anything he likes about them, he said “I really like the culture and loyalty they have at Navy. I like the style of play they have and their work ethic not just in the court but in the classroom and everyday life. The campus was really cool as well.”
In addition to Navy, Djilas has had over twenty five college programs reach out to him recently. Amongst these are Purdue who came to his open gym last week. Some of the other programs to have reached out to him include Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Northern Iowa, UCLA, and VMI.
Djilas took major strides in his game last season as a sophomore in which he averaged 16.2 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.4 steals per game for Brookfield Academy. Next up for his junior season, he is looking to “win and go far in playoffs. I always strive for a triple double but winning is most important.”
