2028 Corvalis Stewart Is A Name To Know

Following making an impact in his freshman season for Madison La Follette, Corvalis Stewart Jr. truly emerged during the grassroots season. With Wisconsin Academy, Stewart has played as one of the top 2028 guards in Wisconsin.

His high level of play and upside was especially evident back in July at the NY2LA Summer Jam tournament. In this tournament, he was able to help Wisconsin Academy advance all the way to the championship game. In a tight championship game, Stewart had one of the top performances of the entire tournament scoring 31 points. When asked about his grassroots season, he said “The season got better for me as it went on. I think as my coaches and teammates started to trust me more my confidence went up. The last couple tournaments I felt I played some of the best ball in my life so far.”

With just a year of high school experience, Stewart has already proven to be a skilled playmaker on both ends of the floor with a versatile game. He excels on the attack with his quickness and has shown growth in his offensive game as well to showing the ability to be a shutdown defender. One aspect of his game Stewart stated that he is working on improving is his jump shot, which has shown in his play. “Being able to shoot off the dribble and off the catch has gotten a lot better for me. I also think I’m at my best when I’m getting downhill, guarding the other team’s best player, getting my teammates involved.”

For his sophomore season, Stewart has now made the move to Madison West High School. “Show I’m one of the best guards in Wisconsin for the class of 2028 and get more college interest,” Stewart has his eyes set on for the upcoming high school season.
