Recruitment Building For 2026 Parker Odle

Since his season playing with the Hoosier State Prospects, 6’2” senior guard Parker Odle of Charlestown High School (IN) has continued to see plenty of growth in his recruitment. This has come with plenty of interest as well as a couple of offers in just the past few weeks.

At both the NY2LA Next Level Invitational and Final Chapter tournaments, Odle was one of the most productive guards. Between the two tournaments, he averaged 13.8 points per game while doing so incredibly efficiently with his outside shooting. In each of these tournaments he hit over half of his three-point attempts while averaging 2.6 made threes a game. Odle is also a well-rounded and versatile guard adding in 4.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.1 steals. Along with his shooting, Odle says that he has been working on becoming more of a three-level scorer. “I’ve worked on my body and athleticism to be able to finish through contact and finish at the rim. My ability to get paint touches and find open players have been a point of emphasis this past summer.”

While on a visit to Trine back in August, Odle received his first collegiate offer from the 2024 division three national champions. Regarding his visit, he said “Trine’s facility was top notch. Dorms were nice, gym was crazy. One of the best I’ve seen. Coaches were amazing and had a ton of energy. Campus is beautiful.”

More recently this past weekend, the senior picked up another offer. This came from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College following attending their camp. “At the camp the players and coach’s energy was really high. It fed over to the players that were participating. Really bonded with the coaches early on,” he said about the NAIA program.

There are aspects both on and off the court Odle is looking for in his future college. “A college that first has my major. Education is important to me. Then, a coaching staff that will push me to be the best and put me in good positions to help the program.”

Next up for the senior is a visit Manchester next week. He has also previously taken a visit to Hanover. Some of the other programs showing the most interest include Albion, Franklin, and Wabash.
