As the calendar turns to September, commitment season is heating up for the 2026 class. Plenty of commitments in this issue in addition to many offers as well.
From a lengthy list of division one offers, Emma O’Brien has made her commitment to an Ivy League program. The senior guard of Lyons Township and the Illinois Lady Lightning will be headed to Cornell.
Chicago State landed an in-state commitment for its 2026 class. This came from Mazzy O’Brien, a guard of Mac Irvin Lady Fire and Washington Community following her official visit.
Following her official visit out to the Nebraska school, Kaylea Lacey of Alton High School (IL) and Legends United has announced her commitment to Wichita State.
Another senior from the Illinois Lady Lightning making their commitment was Megan Ganschow. The 6’2” post of Downers Grove South picked Wright State.
It was a big few days for Wright State as they landed a second commitment recently. This one came from Rowan Klesmit, a senior of Neenah High School and Prime Nation.
Loras College landed a 2026 commitment out of Wisconsin from in Allysen Buss, a 5’3” guard of Appleton West and the Wisconsin Blaze.
Another 2026 guard from Wisconsin making their college commitment was Aubrey Ehrlich. The senior of Horicon High School and Chapman South decided upon Lakeland University.
Plenty of commitments from Wisconsin’s 2026 class over the past seven days as another one came from Rachael Chilicki. The 6’3” center of Wisconsin Impact and Mukwonago High School will be headed to Mount St. Mary’s.
Next in the many commitments from Wisconsin was Dylan Romeo. The Brookfield Central and Wisconsin Lady Shooters senior will be staying in-state by choosing Carthage.
Moving south to Illinois, Averie Wolfe made her collegiate commitment. The senior of Effingham High School and the Indiana Elite Havoc picked Spring Harbor University.
Another senior from the Indiana Elite Havoc making their commitment was Angelina Ippolito. She made her commitment to Clarke.
A few players from the Indiana Girls Basketball program were receiving offers in the last seven days. These included 2027 Riley Huotari from Southern Indiana, 2027 Ashlee Baker from Indiana Wesleyan, 2027 Payton DuVall from IU-Indy,
As one of the top post players in the regions 2026 class, Grace Lee of ALL IN and DePaul Prep has added yet another D1 offer. The latest offer for Lee came from Vermont.
2027 Emy Wardle of Peoria Notre Dame and Heart of Illinois program continues to add to her lengthy list of division one offers with the newest coming from Southern Indiana.
From the Chicago Hoops Express program, sophomore Nayana Harper has added a division one offer. Hers came from Chicago State.
It was a big week for the Midwest Wildcats with a trio of their players picking up offers. This consisted of 2026 Ella Schremser from Coe College, 2026 Soraya Parker from Palm Beach Atlantic University, and 2026 Cam Jones from Central College.
Offers, offers, and more offers for 2027 Campbell Thulin. The newest offer for the guard of Downers Grove North came from BYU.
