At both the NY2LA Final Chapter and Summer Jam tournaments, Aidan Clark was one of the top players while playing with I AM 3 Prospects. The rising senior of Broken Arrow High School (OK) has been seeing a wide range of recruitment.
While a very effective player this summer with I AM 3 Prospects, Clark has much greater upside. “I’m passionate about playing at the college level and believe I bring the work ethic, mindset, and skills that college programs value…I see my game translating through my ability to stretch the floor, whether it’s getting to the rim, hitting mid-range shots, or knocking down threes. I’m not afraid of contact and will take a charge and battle in the post if that’s what the team needs. I have a high basketball IQ, I read the floor well, and I’m confident in my passing. I make it a point to learn all five positions so I can be versatile and step into whatever role the team needs.” Clark said about his game translating to the next level. At 6’6” with his length, athleticism, scoring versatility, ability to defend multiple positions, he was one of the most impactful and versatile players at the two NY2LA tournament this July.
His recruitment has seen a wide range of programs involved in his recruitment during his high school years. Early on in the process, Clark received an offer from Cal back in January of last year. As well to that offer, some of the other programs recruiting him have been Boston University, Columbia, Seton Hall, among others.
“I was with I AM 3 during the July live periods, and it was a really positive experience. Coach Cliff was great…The team environment was special too. My teammates were awesome, each one brought something valuable to the team. The team felt like a real brotherhood…Playing on the NY2LA circuit gave me the chance to go up against teams I normally wouldn’t see, especially from up north. The competition was strong, and it definitely helped me grow as a player.”
For his senior season, Clark will be making the move to Broken Arrow High School.
