NY2LA Summer Jam – KJ’s Standouts Part 3

The third of four articles of top performers from this weekend’s NY2LA Summer Jam Finale.

Ace Walters – 2027 – PG – Oakland Elite 

Walters was a standout player at the tournament. He’s great at shooting off the dribble as he scored 20 points and made five threes in one of his games on Sunday. He’s a quick and strong guard that can take defenders off the dribble and get to the basket easily. Walters can also play-make at a high level as he had multiple assists finding teammates in transition and in the half court set. He’s a high level point guard that can be an elite floor general.

Logan Luxem – 2026 – PG – Full Package

Luxem set the tone offensively for the team during the tournament. He was aggressive at getting to the rim and finishing through contact, and he finished with 14 points on Sunday getting the win 57-49. Luxem made a lot of hustle plays that stood out during the tournament, playing with high intensity and toughness. Luxem is a high energy guard that can get to the basket effectively and finish at the rim efficiently.

Quinn Wesenberg – 2027 – W – Wisconsin Legends

Wesenberg had a strong performance in the tournament, scoring 20 points and making four threes in one of his games on Sunday in a hard fought 48-46 win. His ability to play inside and out was a standout in his game and playing great defense as a help side defender by protecting the paint. He has great size and skill as a wing that can score at all three levels consistently.

Isaac Feske – 2027 – W – Wisconsin Legends 

Feske had a strong all-around performance during the tournament as he scored 13 points in one of his games. His low post scoring was impressive as he has great footwork to get around defenders to finish at the basket with ease. He has a great mid-range shot and shoots the ball a high percentage. Feske is a reliable, versatile wing that can be an offensive threat at the next level.

Jayden Miller – 2026 – G – D Rice Elite

Miller had a great showing at the tournament as he is a fast, high energy guard. He scored 17 points in one of his games on Saturday. Starting the fast break, and running in the open the floor is one of his strengths by playing downhill. Miller has a quick first step to blow past defenders and combined with his strength is a high-level slasher that can finish through contact consistently.

Reece McKee – 2027 – PG – Indiana Elite Wetzel

McKee had a strong performance during the tournament as scored 20 points on Saturday by attacking the basket aggressively. His ability to get downhill and finish through contact stood out, as he was able to finish through heavy traffic. McKee is a quick and agile guard that plays with toughness and is a high-level threat when in transition looking to score.

Cuba Smith – 2026 – WG – Region Force 17U

Smith had an impressive showing at the tournament. He scored 18 points in one of his games displaying his ability to get to the rim and low post scoring. His footwork in the paint was also great, creating space from defenders and shooting over the top was a standout from his game. Smith is a versatile wing that can dominate the low post, mid-range area as he has great poise and strength to be a dynamic scorer in addition to his tough defensive play.

Jaylon Watts – 2026 – WG – Region Force 17U

Watts put together a strong performance during the tournament, scoring 16 points including four threes on Saturday. He was another reliable, highly efficient shooter in the tournament. A standout from his game was also his playmaking ability. In the half court set he was able to find teammates to score easy baskets, and he provided a spark on the offense.

Casey Lyon – 2026 – G – Wisconsin Swing 17U

Lyon had a standout performance, scoring 23 points including five threes on Saturday showcasing the ability to score inside and out. Lyon is great at shooting off the catch as he was able to relocate and spot up for open shots. He also was aggressive looking to attack off the dribble as he set the tone offensively for the team during the tournament.

Isaiah McCree – 2027 – PG – Motor City Grizzlies

McCree had an impressive showing during the tournament, showcasing his craftiness and scoring ability. He finished with 15 points along with three threes in one of his games and multiple assists. His playmaking stood out as he’s able to get teammates open for easy shots and create opportunities for himself. McCree is a very quick guard in the open floor and a high-level slasher.
