Greg Grays Adds A Trio Of Offers

It has been a monumental couple of weeks in the recruitment of 2026 Greg Grays. In this timespan, the 6’2” guard of Brother Rice High School (MI) and D Rice Elite has picked up multiple offers.

While the rising senior picked up his first scholarship back in January coming from Detroit Mercy, he has recently added a new trio of offers for himself. This included a pair of additional division one offers, as well to a division two offer. His three new offers came from Saginaw Valley State, Oakland, and most recently Drexel.

Grays spoke about each of these three schools and what he likes about them and their coaching staff. First up, Saginaw Valley State, “Coach Fowler has seen me play a lot and he knows what I can do on the court. He’s a great asset to learn from because he was a great guard at Central Michigan University and at the pro level,” he said.

“Coach Kampe and staff had some great things to say to me concerning my playing style and how it fits with what they do at Oakland University. They have a great track record with scorers and helping guys get to the next level,” Grays said about Oakland.

On Drexel, Grays said “Coach Spiker has had some conversations with me that I have become familiar with his style and appreciations for shooters and scorers in his system. I also got a chance to see Jason Drake play who had some success at Drexel.”

Throughout his high school career, Grays has been one of the top guards in Michigan as well as on the NY2LA Association. During the May live period, he was one of the top scorers at the NY2LA Next Level Invitational averaging 16.5 points while leading D Rice Elite to a 4-0 tournament. This was in addition to 4 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.
