It has been a breakout spring already for 2026 Kendall Bosby. While playing with Hoops4Health the 6’3” guard has received his first division one scholarship offer.
Detroit Mercy became the first school to extend an offer to Bosby this past week. “It felt amazing getting to see all of my hard work pay off and to finally be recognized after all I’ve been through, so I was really happy,” he said about getting his first offer.
When asked to describe his own game, Bosby stated “Shooter who can create for my teammates and myself.” He added in “I also can find ways to score without having the ball in my hands so back doors, screens, and other things like that. I would say I’m a three-level scorer who takes what the defense gives me.”
Bosby burst onto the scene at the end of April at the NY2LA Spring Extravaganza. During the tournament, he led Hoops4Health to a perfect 4-0 record while being named second team all-tournament. He had multiple twenty plus point games during the tournament including one with five made threes.
This upcoming weekend Bosby and Hoops4Health will be playing in the NY2LA Next Level Invitational in Indianapolis. They will get started in the tournament Friday at 5:20pm up against the Michigan Warriors at the Pro Net Facility. For the upcoming tournament, Bosby stated “I would like to show them how vocal I am and how and me and my teammates are able to win games together as a collective group.”
