On Tuesday night we got a look at several of ALL IN’s top teams from the girls side. This included their 3SSB, Gold, and Blue Star teams. Here are the nights standouts.
Mikaela Cooper – 2027 – PG – 16U Gold
Cooper was one of the top distributors of the media night. She has great court vision and is a pass first point guard who was always looking to set up her teammates. Not only a good passer but she is a quick decision maker getting the ball out to collect a ton of assists.
Eve Engler – 2028 – SG – 16U 3SSB
Engler did what Engler does best all event, shoot the basketball. The 2028 guard was hitting everything from the outside spotting up including a few of them with a defender right on her. There are few players in the state of Illinois who can shoot the ball like Engler, regardless of class.
Evelyn Hill – 2028 – G – 15U Blue Star
The frosh guard showed off a very good all-around skill set with her playmaking on both ends of the floor. Hill was often getting into the paint playing on the attack but also shot the ball well sptting up from three. She also made plenty of plays on the defensive side with her aggressive on ball play in addition to being active in the passing lanes for a few steals.
Emma Jocson – 2027 – PG – 16U 3SSB
Jocson is a gifted point guard with a very good ability to create for others while also scoring it effectively herself. She excels playing on the attack and maneuvering right through defenders with her quickness and handle but also hit a few threes on the night. Jocson was also one of the top distributors there as she was pushing the ball in transition creating as well getting the ball inside and hitting cutters or driving to distribute it.
Bella Silva – 2027 – G – 16U 3SSB
There are not many sophomores in the region who can score the ball like Silva does. She showcased a tremendous offensive game as well to playing with plenty of energy outworking everyone. The sophomore moves so well with the ball getting into the paint and scoring as well to being able to create her own shot. This included to hitting some tough step back jumpers.
Kaitlin Totaro – 2026 – SF – 17U 3SSB
Totaro is a player who could see her recruitment stock take off in the coming months. As well to her positional size at 6’2”, she is a long and athletic wing forward. As well to all her physical tools, she showed a versatile game as well. Totaro can makes plays on the attack, made some good passes, and hit a few threes.
