Trio of Illinois Seniors Announce Commitments

In just the past few days, a trio of senior from Illinois made their commitments. This included a pair to division one programs as well as one to a division two level program. The commitments came from Antonio Munoz, Dom Clay, and Matas Gaidukevicius.

Throughout his high school career, Munoz has been one of the top ranked forwards in Illinois’ 2025 class. The 6’5” senior of Whitney Young High School and the Meanstreets programs made his commitment to Florida A&M. The commitment comes after Munoz just took a visit to the school. This season, Munoz earned himself third team all-state honors by the IBCA. He had received his offer from them back in October of last year. Some of the other schools to had previously offered Munoz included Duquesne, Eastern Michigan, SIU, and others.

It was a very busy several days in the recruitment of Dom Clay. The 6’4” senior wing guard of Quincy High School and MPJ Elite first opened up his commitment from Austin Peay. Shortly after this, he then made his commitment to North Dakota State. The Bison are landing one of the top shooters in Illinois who helped Quincy make it all the way to the super-sectionals this season. He was able to earn special mention all-state honors by the IBCA.

University of Jamestown landed the commitment from Matas Gaidukevicius. The 6’5” wing guard of Lemont High School and M14 was one of the higher upside players still available in Illinois’ senior class. In his senior season, he helped Lemont reach the sectional finals. The wing guard brings a nice blend of shooting, positional size and length, and athleticism to Jamestown.
